Bachelorette’s new album (self-titled: “Bachelorette”) is now available in stores, from May 17th. The album was written and recorded by Annabel while on tour around the world in 2010, in places as disparate as Oxford, UK; Tripoli, Libya; rural Virginia and Brooklyn, USA.
Listen to Nick Bollinger’s review of the new album on Radio New Zealand National:

Bachelorette has some new sound-responsive live visuals which were created by Wellington based visuals whiz, Karen Curley @ resolutionisland and her Amsterdam based collaborator, Mark Barcinski @ barcinski-jeanjean.com. Their work is amazing and can be checked out at any of Bachelorette’s live shows in the US, Canada, UK and Europe this year (see tour dates).
Stills of some of the new visuals can be seen below. Will post some live videos of them soon.
All of Particle Tracks’ and Annabel’s profits from CD sales of the new Bachelorette album, in NZ, will be donated to the Red Cross for their work in Christchurch following the Feb 22nd earthquake. Forge Media very kindly manufactured the CDs at cost price, so that their profits can also go directly to the earthquake charity. They were great to work with and I recommend them to anyone in NZ needing printing, CD replication, etc, etc…
